Using twitter to direct traffic to my myspace?

I want to direct more traffic to my myspace and I was thinking of using twitter.com by just posting my link up a few times a day. Would this work?

Using twitter to direct traffic to my myspace?
Another really good site that I like is trafficswarm. What you do is upload the url of your blog and then it starts getting traffic instantly. Free sign up too so if you don't like it you're not losing anything.
Reply:Hey There,

Checkout www.twitterfeed.com - you can feed your blog to that and it will automatically update Twitter. Just have self-referencing Links in your blog and you should be able to direct some traffic back to myspace from Twitter by using your Myspace blog RSS feed.

It sounds more complicated than it is. Check out the site and just follow the 3 or 4 steps. I set it up and it works like clockwork :)

Hope that helps :)

How do I meet new people on Twitter?

I am a new Twitter user, and I like it since I don't have to spend a lot of time on it... I want to meet new people on It, maybe with interests that are similar to mine. How can I do it?!

How do I meet new people on Twitter?
Just do a user search by keyword or area.

How do you add your Twitter page to your Yahoo!360 as an RSS feed?

I've tried my best to look for an XML RSS feed page in my twitter profile so I can paste the URL in my Yahoo!360 profile (through the RSS function), but all I've been able to find was an RSS link which allows me to download a ".rss" file, which I'm not really familiar with.

Hope someone can help me out with this. Thanks!

How do you add your Twitter page to your Yahoo!360 as an RSS feed?
- Go to any the site that you want to get the feed from. Click on the "RSS or XML" link or orange RSS button. A RSS file will come up on the next page. (If the page looks like raw code, but don't let it scare you!). If the XML page doesn't come up, click on an option in the RSS pulldown menu at the top, but don't follow through with it. Go back out and try clicking on the RSS link again.

-To add the RSS URL to your Yahoo! 360° Feeds module, click on the "XML/RSS" button and use "Ctrl-C" on your keyboard to copy the URL found in the address bar of your browser.

- Click the "Add a Feed (via RSS)" in your Feeds module on your "My Page" in 360. Use "Ctrl-V" to paste the URL into the "Add a feed" space in that page. When you're done, click the "Save" button below.

NOTE: Please note that feeds are updated on a schedule, so it may take a few hours before your feeds appear on Yahoo!.

Also, try to visit your feeds more often and make sure that the URL or XML addresses are updated for the feed. If there is an XML address available, try that one instead of the URL (this last tip courtesy of Star-dust, I believe).

The general help page has instructions -

Then, the Yahoo team's blog has a post on the subject at -

Even more information is available at http://developer.yahoo.com/rss/ .

Good luck!

How can I set my facebook status using twitter?

I would like to know how to set up facebook/twitter so that every tweet I send, it posts that as my facebook status. Thank you! (I do not want to install the twitter app)

How can I set my facebook status using twitter?
There are few easy ways to do this. Facebook's system for dealing with user-written programs doesn't let you do this. That said, there are a few hacks that people have made to do it. If you have some programming knowledge, check out these:

Unfortunately, no one's written a full app to do this, so if you can't use the above scripts, you may be out of luck.

How to use Twitter?

Are there any body can tell me how to use twitter? Thanks

How to use Twitter?
You sign up and invite friends and you just type a brief summary of what you're doing at that moment. I'm still getting the hang of it. If you add somebody, they have to add you back to see your posts. And before you know it, you've got a long thread of interesting and funny non-sequitor banter. My friends and I have a lot of fun with twitter. Even though I'm not a pro, I'm already finding it to be addicting!
Reply:I think Karen summed it up well there. I certainly is addictive. I would also add that Twitter can be used via SMS messages. There is a good guide here: http://tinyurl.com/377fpq Report It

Twitter & wordpress?

I do not have the luxury of owning my own webspace. So I use the free wordpress version: wordpress.com

I want to insert Twitter into my widget sidebar but cannot find a code that is compatible with the text widget.

Simple HTML is all it will allow. Are there any really simple widgets designed out there for wordpress and twitter for unfortunate WP bloggers like me?

Twitter %26amp; wordpress?
Here's a great post about how to use Twitter and Wordpress together. Unfortunately you are limited by hosting your blog with Wordpress. Good luck!

What is twitter ?

What is twitter ?
Twitter is many things. It can be:

1: A way to tell people what you are doing.

2: A mini blogging service

3: An email client. Kid you not some people are using it for email

4: A tool for stalkers. Thats why you shouldn't be too specific when you twitter your location

5: A way to boast about how wonderful you are and name drop

6: A stripped down social networking service

7. A way to advertise stuff

Like most of the best stuff on the web, the creators had no idea what it could be used for completely, but they threw it out there and the internets made it into all those things.

Plus, if like Norm says, its very "last week", then what does he think is "today"?
Reply:Hi Patrick,

Twitter is like a blog where people tell what they are doing.

It is kind of "last week" mostly silly stuff.
