What is twitter ?
Twitter is many things. It can be:
1: A way to tell people what you are doing.
2: A mini blogging service
3: An email client. Kid you not some people are using it for email
4: A tool for stalkers. Thats why you shouldn't be too specific when you twitter your location
5: A way to boast about how wonderful you are and name drop
6: A stripped down social networking service
7. A way to advertise stuff
Like most of the best stuff on the web, the creators had no idea what it could be used for completely, but they threw it out there and the internets made it into all those things.
Plus, if like Norm says, its very "last week", then what does he think is "today"?
